i really dont know how ur supposed to hit as a tall player in this league anymore. so many skaters dont look where they are going and pretty much skate head first into players on the other team. nhl has created a situation where defenders are pretty much obligated to get out of the way of a clueless puck carrier.

The principal point of contact is the head and head contact was avoidable. That's all the league cares about.
