That Thomas goal was a pure sniper given time and space. Guy is NHL 89 percentile for mid-range shots; 93 percentile for goals (8); and shooting 80 percentile (16%). NHL EDGE Puck and Player Tracking Statistics - Skaters

That was a perfect shot that beats likely any goaltender. Let's talk about the second goal though.

This team continues to begin games on their heels chasing teams who simply work harder and skate. Brutal to see no desperation to correct a major issue in today's NHL chasing teams.

Skinner doesn’t make tough saves as much as a good goalie or a starter should. Statistically he is a below average starter at best. Thats just a fact.
