Someone was arguing previously in the year that Stutzle should be in the Norris conversation!

Barkov is a true number 1 centre, Stutzle is not. Matthew Thachuk is a true number one winger, Brady is not.

The Panthers are truly a playoff team and the Senators are not!
The Panthers are truly a SC Contender and playoff team. The Senators are trying to become a playoff team. Big difference. Plus we have 4 starters out with injuries including 2 of our top 3 Cs.

He looked like that guy before he sprained his ankle. He looked like that guy on a few occasions this season. But most nights he doesn't look like that guy.
Well that’s the issue and will continue to be the issue. He’s lazy when he’s feeling it yeah he looks dynamic. But he’s feeling it like 15% of the time

Another guy who I said was ass all the way back in his wjc tournaments and everyone here thought he was the next Bergeron even though it was crystal clear he could not pass, handle a pass, or stick handle even at an AHL level
I was one of those fools who thought White would become Bergeron. I even followed him in Boston College after we drafted him.

Now I see that Travis Konecny was drafted right after White. It was just another one of those Dorion decisions where we took the role player instead of the guy tearing up the CHL.

You're right. But I don't think we can really count Norris as a part of the team. He is too injury prone. If I am right about Norris I don't think Pinto is going to be that clear cut number 2 centre. But I like the optimism. People keep talking about how easy a schedule we have, hopefully that rings true after the 4 Nations tournament.

This is my thought exactly... We went into this season HOPING for a wild card spot... we go on a 3 game losing streak (even though this game isn't over yet!) vs 2 teams that have both won cups in the last 5 years, and are poised to be cup contenders again, and the sky is falling...

We will still be in the 1st wildcard spot, even if we lose tonight...

There is a big difference between "Playoff Contenders" and "Stanley Cup Contenders." We are the former, FLA and TBL are the latter.

I have not seen much to indicate that Pinto can be a consistent 2C; looks like a 3C to me. Might be a 2W.

Norris is part of the team but seems to be injury prone.

Melnyk and Dorion are the real causes of the poor team we are watching.
