I have a feeling how the rest of this season will go...

First we all watch the standings and hope for team around us to lose. Then we realize we are so far out we actually need to win AND other teams need to lose.
Then we are anticipating the 2025 draft, like we do every year.

This team isn't sustainable over 82 games.

I agree.

Still think juggernaut 1C should be better tho. Most teams have a guy that it doesn’t matter who is out they’re dominant for the time they’re in the ice.

Missing 2 centers aside, last couple of games, you really get a sense of who is gonna show up in the playoffs. Stutzle ain't one of them. Nice play on Brady’s goal but hasn't made a play all night. In a one game playoff, right now I take Greig over stutzle. Way too cute. When time and space is limited, he can't make the simple play. Hopefully these games are cheap lessons.

Not the same team without Norris & Pinto. Grieg isn’t at the same level as either of these guys, plus he takes too many penalties in general, & too many that lead to goals. The idea of moving Norris to wing and we wouldn’t miss a beat is wishful thinking. We’d need another bonafide good center if this were to happen. You could see how the momentum swung in the 2nd period and Florida totally dominated in that period. Doesn’t matter how good Ullmark is, or any goalie. You need the team around the goalie & goal support to win, especially against the better teams.

I think we're ok missing one, but that essentially two top 6 forwards out, even if Pinto technically plays on the third line.

Oh I agree, I’m pessimistic for a reason. This team has had multiple opportunities now to separate from the pack, and they’ve imploded each time. Now they need to go on yet another winning streak to keep up with the pace of the Eastern playoff race.

I get that Stutzle isn’t going to carry this team on his back and isn't a superstar, but Grieg isn’t the answer either.

Another guy who I said was ass all the way back in his wjc tournaments and everyone here thought he was the next Bergeron even though it was crystal clear he could not pass, handle a pass, or stick handle even at an AHL level

He just can’t be a teams best players. He needs to be our 3rd MAX 2nd best player.

He looked like that guy before he sprained his ankle. He looked like that guy on a few occasions this season. But most nights he doesn't look like that guy.
