This team in a nutshell.

Don't dump on the few good player this team has. It's not the way to go.

Outside of Lohrei and McAvoy, the rest of this D handles the puck like it's a grenade on ice.

John Beecher is Brandon Carlo if he played forward. His brain literally shuts off when the puck is on his stick in the offensive zone.

Brazeau, Beecher, and Koepke should sit for not registering a hit or a shot on goal. When it comes to Brazeau and Koepke, you don't even kill penalties... Like, do something. Anything. Kastelic had a few brain farts too, but at least he's throwing his body around trying to generate something.

Said it yesterday.... should have let Swayman earn his money on this one.

Watching this Bruins team is akin to eating an unseasoned boiled piece of chicken.

Sacco, Kelly and Leach should of been shown the door with Monty.

They'd be in a better situation right now had they overhauled the entire coaching staff instead of just handing the keys to Sacco and retaining all the assistants.

Scapegoats at this point. Kind of hard to turn a bunch Volkswagens into Lamborghinis and win consistently when you only have 2 top 6 caliber players. Scotty Bowman and Al Arbour couldn’t do much better with this bunch.

They just don’t have the horses, been riding Pastas coattails since the new year.

Well, I don't disagree with your post, but the real elephant in the room is the team itself.

The team has flaws, no doubt about it. But I think a better coaching staff could be getting more out of this group. Wouldn't turn them into a contender, but they'd be in a better position than they are right now.

I felt the decision to go with Swayman tonight was a lay-up, an easy decision. But nope, let analytics rule the day.

Same with their obsession with the face-off guy always on their strong side. It's gone overboard. Claiming the reason for keeping McAvoy on PP was zone entries, to heck with actual PP production. Rolling the same PP 1 unit since the start of the season to no success.

It's been musical chairs with Lines 2/3/4. Guys playing wing one day, center the next. Constant changing of D-pairings. Always using some bull-shit make-shift line coming out of special teams situations.

Rarely calling time-outs. Has Sacco gotten mad even once since taking over. Just gutless analytic driven coaching.

I'm more patient than most hockey fans. I'm not a 'blow it up' guy like there seems to be a lot around here.

But this is not good on a lot of levels. It's incredibly boring hockey being played out there. Seems very disjointed with no one on the same page. It's the first time in years that I'm just kinda turning off the game and checking the score to see if it's even close going into the third.

Last night I saw a team who played like they wanted to be playing in the playoffs, tonight I saw a team who was so disinterested, and had no drive , no urgency against a Ranger team who looked as equally as bad and disinterested. Pathetic for two teams battling for a playoff spot.
