The analytics aren't always reliable in these games that get out of pocket fast.

my travel team when i was 9 years old had a better breakout scheme than the rangers

They might not be *this* bad but a season where everything goes wrong was coming after getting away with murder for three years.

A team that was never good went on a couple of runs, they committed to it, and now it's a longer road to start over.

Easy to make that case if it happened once, but it happened twice in 3 years.

The issue here is that the clear upgrade spots after the first time they did it... still existed in year 3. There was no effort to upgrade those spots beyond bringing in Panarin's best friends for RW the year before (and that epic failed.)

1LD was something that we needed to upgrade even when Lindgren WAS good. He's still eating top 4 minutes and he's about as useful on the ice as a rhino taking a massive dump.

Also I am humored by how many Pro Panarin in 2019 are now seeing why singing him was such a stupid idea. Lavi completely nuked this team this year but Panarin has slowly poisoned this franchise since the second he inked his contract.
