Goes without saying that this team has run out of fight. This is the kind of game that gets a coach or even a GM fired especially with the season preceding it so far. But Drury has to hang around to make trades or someone has to.

Really don't see this team making the playoffs. I don't know if you want to rush trades before the deadline.....it's just that we need to be sellers and not buyers.

Anyone who continues to watch tonight's performance is a real honest to god masochist.

Even the early 2000 teams, with all their mercenaries, weren't this mentally and physically lame ass weak.

They might not be *this* bad but a season where everything goes wrong was coming after getting away with murder for three years.

A team that was never good went on a couple of runs, they committed to it, and now it's a longer road to start over.

It was the Bruins in 92 a little after Christmas down 5-2 in the third with a 6-5 win

Garther and Kovalev each scored 2 goals
In the final 7 minutes of the game. Kovalev got the winner at 19:24. Wow

The Wild was a 3 goal comeback at MSG in 2014. Good memory

the only 5 goal comebacks i can think of are:

montreal vs us in 07
chicago vs calgary in i think 10
and that old oilers/kings game

There was another game in December '91 at the Cap Center where we were down 5-1 in the first & came back & won. I think Joey Kocur started the rally at the end of the first period to send it into intermission at 5-2.

I really like the part where we traded a 23 year old now top 6 forward for a bottom pair 28 year old defenseman with zero upside.

i was told it was a good trade and Brogan totally revamped our D corps!
