i do agree. hughes is coldblooded if the price is rightSavard is no untouchable but with an overpay, Hughes would be hard pressed to accept, I would have to believe.

His contract makes him untouchable, he’s a bottom pair on any contender and Montreal will not retain on multi-yearsSavard is no untouchable but with an overpay, Hughes would be hard pressed to accept, I would have to believe.
So cryptic a response but frankly his whole injury status has been poorly communicated so why be clear now?
Hughes has never retained on a multi-year contract. He’s been all about generating cap room. I don’t know that Savard’s overpaid, that contract seems fair market value to me.His contract makes him untouchable, he’s a bottom pair on any contender and Montreal will not retain on multi-years
David Savard I think will be in some demand. He immediately helps bolster any defense and has played on a team that won 4 rounds.
I hope he is kept but I am sure Hughes will listen to any offer.
Nobody is moving The only assets are injured The Healthy ones are crap. Why would other teams want crap when We don't want the crap?translation: his injury is not improving.
If HuGo are dead-set on another 1st, they're going to have move someone more valuable like an Anderson.
Eddy and money at most, will get 2nds - and even then, contingent on how much they play imho
And I know we're all excited to see Dadonov / Drouin / Hoffman dealt, but is it worth it to HuGo to even move them for 5ths when we actually don't have enough bodies to finish the season?
A ridiculous argument. They want veterans and depth because they believe they are a contender. And there is little risk with an expiring contract if they don't overpay. Habs are rebuilding. Some vets have to go (and some nobody will want- Drouin)Nobody is moving The only assets are injured The Healthy ones are crap. Why would other teams want crap when We don't want the crap?
I want Schueney or Leskinen backWould be nice if the Habs called up a couple of Rocket demen and sit Wideman. The season is lost so why not give the future guys a taste of the show?
Where have I seen this kind of comment before?A good showing is all I want. Habs need to compete hard.
We hit Roy and Farrell with 4ths. I’ll take it. Also helps the tanktranslation: his injury is not improving.

Oh, yes …
Meh.
It's saturday night, but the bell center is the place to be tonight, and it has nothing to do with hockey.
Sounds pretty clear to me. His injury has got to the point where he is progressing very slowly.
You make me sick!I want to see ROR get a hat trick with his new team let’s go
off topic but florida is losing in nashville 4- 2 in the 2nd period, also gudas went to the dressing room,I hope the question is rhetorical.

they don't and they wouldn't; thus my postNobody is moving The only assets are injured The Healthy ones are crap. Why would other teams want crap when We don't want the crap?
I might need to take a nap before that game... I don't have a good feeling about tonight but I need to stay awake so that I can be pissed either at leafs or the Habs or refs or just somebody. It takes energy. Just thinking ahead here...
