Even with their new superstars, they are not a playoff team. They are still a run and gun regular season team with terrible D and no goaltending. Not sure why people think they're anything close to a contender lol.

I hate praising or giving the Leafs or giving them credit for anything but I really think last night's trade was excellent for them. Their top two lines are loaded but their 3rd and 4th lines were weak. Getting O'Reilly and Acciari gives those lines a huge boost.

Definitely a good trade for them. However it needs to be all in with this core. Try to acquire whatever you can at whatever cost.

They need to win now, there's no more excuses. Sell for whatever assets you have now.

Go bat shit crazy like Columbus did a few years ago. It's now or never.

Why are most teams relatively healthy and the Habs year after year always seem to be near the top in man games lost?

Because we play guys in a role that is too important for them. They have to work harder and take more chances to assume that role they don't have to skills to do. This lead to more injuries.
