Against the top team in the league, 3 time zones away, it's tough to ask for a better 1st period

They really look good. And they look like they know they are going to look good…..if that makes sense. Lotta confidence.

If you want to look at it that way I assume that would be roughly in that line of logic.
I'm a thrill-seeker type so I guess I just love that park a ton.

Wonder how this PP will fare...

Did Johansen hit a post early in the PP? I though he did but the announcers didn't even mention it.

Not sure I believe the Horton-Joey-Jenner line scored again... Great first period vs one of the best in their barn... I'm thinking the Ducks are not happy, get ready for the push back Bob...

Anybody else think we should switch one of Foligno/Umberger with one of Atkinson/Calvert? Just seems like it has been our 1st and 4th lines since Johansen got put with Jenner and Horton.

Yes. Switching Joey with AA got Joey going again but RJ has dropped off and Nicky doesn't look as good, needs someone else with speed.

Although... Didn't Anisimov play between Calvert and Atkinson for a stretch last season, looking good as a group?

Yep, this one may still require another comeback in the third period.

The thing the replay showed that really impressed me about the goal was, after passing to Horton, Jenner went hard to the net and took defenders with him. Johansen didn't just spot up, he, too, went toward the net and Horton had the patience to wait for the second man through. Big time play, all around.

Ryan Johansen now tied with Tavares with 23 goals. He's 21. So that's good for @BlueJacketsNHL. Tied for first in goals for 21 and unders.

Ducks forecheck and speed were difficult to handle. CBJ did not carry the play that period. Ducks PBP guy said they're the best second period team in the league.

Ugh the stupid argument of amnestying Umberger is back.

It's more than likely not going to happen. The caps going up and there's no reason for it. There's only 3 more years of RJ left after this one. You can do it.
