GDT: Game 56/82 Blues vs Chicago 6PM CST FDSNMW

They only let up what 18 shots. Some good chances yes but most NHL goalies make SOME prime chances forgettable

Real question is was that a record for most SO rounds for the Blues?

Binnington giving up 5 goals on 20 shots would be abysmal against any team, but giving that to a bottom feeder team like the Hawks is inexcusable. He’s probably played himself out of any action in the tournament and should be getting no more than half the starts from here on out. Hofer has been better than him most of the season and deserves more starts.

I didn't see the anything but the first 2 goals again and those 2 were 100% not on Binny at all, I can't speak for the other 3.

Edit 3rd goal was another cross ice one timer. Those cannot be blamed on goalies.
edit again 4th goal was a tip in front by our own dman.

So are you really saying those 4 were Binningtons fault?

I just got home from the game.

My kids had a fun time but from my point of view it was a horrible game.

I don’t even know where to start but they are who they are

I am expecting a big trade but I’m also expecting disappointment in the return/results.
I think if they can move the remainder of Schenn’s contract for a slightly negative return, that’s probably good for the future of this team. I’d love a futures return, but it’s more likely they don’t get anything significant.

I don’t think Army is moving Schenn for a negative return. He’s probably looking for a 1st + or a NHL equivalent in value. That’s just my opinion

Which one should he have stopped?
