Torpeur? Gallagher and Pearson are pretty much done as NHLers. Anderson needs a change of scenery. The rest are actual 4th liners producing at their level, replacement players from the AHL or poor Newhook stuck playing center when he's a much better winger.

Me too, but it is quite the change in coaching philosophy.
It's probably a massive adjustment going from msl style to bowness style.
It's probably good they made this trade when they did because it looks like there might be an adjustment period.

They have started the Ovie projections for this kid............it will be interesting to see if he can stay away from major injuries...
A lot turned on him pretty quickly, not without faults, but he did receive more criticism than warranted.
Especially from this website.
Not only he was captain of this team, but he was one of the best scorer in the entire league over the course of his career (and would still be today without all those injuries at end).
Elite scorer that had practically no help around him, and that falls on the management group who wasn’t able to bring other key parts to help the offense.
