Would probably help if we could score more than one goal unless the plan is to win games with a 1 - 0 score.
We needed the PP to come through for us, missing both Pinto and Norris really hurt though.

5v5 we were ok, we created some good chances, unfortunately we didn't finish on some more of them, but the PP was imo the biggest issue, it needed to at the very least create some momentum, but was mostly perimeter stuff.

Yes, I agree. I said the same thing in the last post on the previous page.

Did I read correctly that matinpalo only played 5:35?

If that’s the case is it possible that green legit did not even like how he played in the last month and a bit?

We were playing 7 D, the 7th guy almost always barely plays, he doesn't play PK or PP, so that's what you get... If it makes you feel better, Hamonic only played 9 mins.

You’re not wrong but this team will have offensive struggles. Thats simply how the roster is built

That’s almost 100% more than matinpalo

I think it’s just to spread it around.

Perron Greig and amadio is just vanilla likely will create nothing.

thats a cool 5 mil
they were our best trio imo
Amadio and Perron were our top 2 CF% performers at over 70%
Greig was 4th in Forwards at over 60%

they showed a clip of 4sberg in the 2nd intermission on the Tampa broadcast (TSN difficulties) .. on how he did not look comfortable , was losing the puck and was lucky a few times

Were they together? Or were they set as the line combos from practice
2nd most minutes among line combos... That means Yes. They were noticeable

Agreed,

Also TbL did a really good job of getting Cernak and McDonaugh out against the Tkachuk line,

I also think putting Batherson with Ostapchuk and Highmore just neutered Batherson, though he hasn't been playing great himself. It's not like when they did put Tkachuk-Stu-Bath together it didn;t do anything.

Way too much perimeter play which is frustrating to watch as they continue to repeat the same passing pattern for the perfect play.

We just don’t match up well vs Tampa or Florida, either team would likely take us down in 5 games.

Best case scenario for this team is a wild card spot. If Tampa plays Wings like they did us, they will out their crazy winning streak to an end.

We will very likely lose to Florida and it will be a bloodbath between 5 teams for those 2 spots. I think we will bounce back and hold WC1 but Tampa provide space between the 3rd spot unless they get a key injury.

wasn't in
Robbed by snow buildup, or possibly bad ice? between that and a couple posts, things just weren't going our way last night.

I'm not saying we should have won, the PP was dreadful, but I think we could have come out of that game with a point, maybe two, with a little bit more fortune, but the things we could control, like allowing Hagel to get sprung on a breakaway, and our PP are what lost us the game.

I think healthy we match up pretty well against Tbay. We went 3-1 against them last year, and both loses this year were actually close games down to the final few mins, despite the odds stacked against us due to scheduling nonsense and injuries.
