That's my take. I don't even mind us taking the original chance on Jake, but it clearly hasn't worked and we have options either with other centres in Hartford or by moving Goodrow to centre and bringing up a winger

Agreed, it was worth a shot and they picked him up when Kreider got hurt. It very clearly isn’t working. There’s absolutely no reason to be sticking with him at this point. He does nothing well, nothing offensively and he’s not reliable defensively. He’s just out there getting his steps in all night.

Getting robbed like that on back to back chances just says this is not our not.

Chytil’s was worse though because he waited when he should’ve shot but then Campbell flopped down and the entire net was open so it was salvageable and he shoots the puck 3 inches off the ice, literally the only area of the net that the puck wouldn’t go in. Christ.
