If the first PP unit is playing this poorly, you have to consider switching things up, at least temporarily.

NO more 1:30+ shifts for the life-support stack unit. Get Drai away from Bouchard, RNH, and McDavid.

Weird game tonight. Oilers look so out of sync, but it's still tied 4 - 4 due to the Ave's questionable depth and mediocre goaltending.

I was shocked when they showed the graphic that Mcdavid has 18 points in the last 9 games, I don't think I've ever seen him play worse during this last while outside of the start of last year when he was blatantly injured. Hell, this might be the first time I've seen a 4 on 4 start without both Drai and Mcdavid lined up together out there in a decade.

Glad Pickard came into the game though. He looks so much better than Skinner.
Yet Knob will never give him more starts. Even to bide time for a potential upgrade.

I thought it was 13.

Id be curious about revisiting some of the swaps they played with previously. Skinner for RNH and Ekholm for Bouchard

That Drai goal was made sweeter by the fact that he intercepted Mackinnon's pass to break up the play to start the rush, then dangled him to get the goal. The real MVP.
