He's won his last 3 starts and was .960 in his last loss to boot.

So 3-1 with a 2.00 and .935 over the last 4 games.

He deserves regular rotation if he keeps that up, and I'm guessing with ullmark returning from a back injury especially, they want to ease his work load.

I wouldn't be surprised if they split the starts 50-50 while Forsberg provides this type of goaltending.

Merilainen has a .930 SV% in the new year. He's obviously the guy who should be splitting starts with Ullmark while he's not 100%.

A couple decent weeks and the last year and a half didn't exist. I hope he can keep it up, but it's hard to believe it will, for me at least.

He's not the perfect player but he's a legit 1st liner, maybe an average 1st liner but it's not like we have too many Top-6 forwards, CANNOT afford to trade Batherson and his contract.
