Man, generating chances, good period. That post is so emblematic hahahah. Great start thought I like it!

Anyone saying the kings are boring has to look to the opponents as well. The Sharks weren't even sending a forechecker past the neutral zone if they weren't already in there. That's how teams have been playing us--sit back, take away the middle. No wonder we are so boring until we get annoyed, say "**** it" and go take the middle

Having a Hahn and Remenda do a national TV game when They could have had a hall of famer Play by Play man and an ACTUAL former NHL player with 20 years of broadcasting experience is a joke and poor judgement again by NBCSN who make poor judgments an art form.

I don't know why anyone is getting on any players really. Kopitar worked for that shot and tossed a dude to get it off quickly as possible. Richie hit the post. Sure we want them to bury them, but those are just symbolic of a team that's struggling. There will be a breakthru.

I respectfully disagree. At times San Jose had all 3 forwards pressuring, they know with the Kings break out, at worse if the puck gets past them the kings will be only going 2 vs 2 back.

Teams are sitting on them getting the puck to the wings planted along the boards. The breakouts have been really bad, coupled with all the passing into the skates just leads to

Not a bad period, but when things are going bad, you have to take advantage of the little things. Richards flubbing the pass, Richards post. It just adds up.

Edit: changed the post to Richie, thought it was williams.

Or because Comcast owns NBC.

NBCSN is owned by Comcast, Hahn and Remenda are under contract to them, not that I am happy, I think Hahn is one of the worst in the business, but it's all about money.

What I don't agree with was having the Sharks guys call playoff games, like they did in 2011, that was ridiculous. Atleast last year they had neutral commentators.

Shut out 6 periods. That's why.

I get it, but this looks a little different than the lifeless effort vs the ducks. What, did you think they were gonna score 4 goals in one period? :P

Also, look no further than highlights of other games to realize things will look up. Teams are banking pucks off skates, pinballing centering passes off defenseman...we are getting goals scored against us from out of play  the only one we have gotten since the holidays was the gimme by Halak and god knows St Louis owed us one of those.

We've hit rock bottom to be honest. I think this period was encouraging and we are going to start getting those breaks soon GKG!

Crosby,Stamkos and Tavares all would've looked up then shot, not shot then looked up. And all 3 would've buried that too.

Stalock played it well, read that Kopitar knocked down his man and came out to the top of the crease and cut down the angle. Neither of them would've scored on that unless they picked a top corner.

Remenda is far from the worst commentator in hockey. Heck, he's not even the worst among teams in this division. Phoenix and Anaheim are easily worse.

Can't wait to hear these clowns again during the playoffs. NBCSN is just being flat out cheap, just like the guys calling the Stadium series game. Carter and Engblom were terrible, especially Carter as the analyst.:shakehead
