I disagree. If Geertsen had been in the lineup, I bet most of the skill guys would have deferred the rough stuff to him. I actually think it's good that our "tough" guys are all out for this game. Even with three Geertsen's, the Rangers were never going to out-fight the Caps. The teams are built in entirely different ways. By forcing the skill guys to get a little dirt under their fingernails, hopefully it will show them that they can do that when need be down the line (when we do have Troubs, Lindgren, Kreider, Schneider, Cuylle, etc) in the lineup. This is a fight the skill guys can't really win, but it's a fight that can help the team moving forward.

Thats fine and I understand that. But we have no one to match Wilson. Geertsen’s job would’ve been to fight Wilson his first shift, 2nd shift, 3rd shift, etc. until the game was over.
