Because thats 65% of the team
When the Bruins are fully healthy that % isn't 65%, or 60%. Here are Boston's non US players when Boston is healthy.

G Korpisalo
D Lindholm, Zadorov
C Zacha, Lindholm, Poitras
W Marchand, Geekie, Pastrnak, Brazeau

So majority of time when Sway man us in net its 57% and Korpisalo
in net its 53%.

Quit the US hockey dislike.

Bruins Superstar Passes Bobby Orr With Amazing Stat

The Boston Bruins defeated the New York Rangers by a 6-3 final score on Feb. 1. Bruins superstar David Pastrnak played a massive role in the win, scoring a hat trick and adding an assist.

With this incredible performance, Pastrnak extended his point streak to 10 games. He has been simply outstanding, as he has 10 goals and 23 points over that span.

This is the eighth 10-game point streak in Pastrnak's career. With this, he passed Bobby Orr for the second-most 10-game point streaks in Bruins history. Phil Esposito has the most in Bruins history with 10.

Pastrnak is playing some of the best hockey of his career right now, and it has helped him pass a legend like Orr with this impressive stat because of it. We will need to wait and see if No. 88 can keep this kind of play up from here.

“We were both kind of lightweight guys coming into the league,” Pastrnak said of Poitras. “So I definitely can relate to it. He got so much stronger compared to a year and a half ago when he came [to the NHL]. Obviously, he took advantage of the unfortunate injury he had, and he is much stronger. He’s got the confidence … when he’s playing a game like that, it’s fun to watch.”

Pastrnak’s four-point night (three goals, one assist) headlined Boston’s bounce-back win on Causeway Street. But it was the playmaking of Poitras that sparked Pastrnak’s scoring salvo, as he set up both of Pastrnak’s tallies at 5-on-5 play.

“He’s an unbelievable player, so for me, it’s just finding him, and he kind of does the rest,” Poitras said of setting up Pastrnak’s goals.

“He’s got an incredible skill,” Charlie McAvoy said of Poitras. “So that second goal there — that’s all him. That’s an incredible play from behind the net. He sees those plays. He can make those plays.

Now do this crap on a consistent basis. They win like this, suck us back in and get their ass kicked for another three games.
Donnie, everyone should read what you are saying, one win is nice, but to win us back you are going to need a lot more and consistently. The days of forgiveness and going easy on them is over. We all want back in but prove to us that we should rejoin the flock.

Cap fan complaining about him scoring the 3rd as an empty netter on the main board.

Its not like that on this team, they do not force feed Pasta the way the Caps pass to Ovie.
The Cap fan is disingenuous. They are putting Ovechkin out in every empty net situation, extended time on pp, and pumping him for offensive zone face offs. If they could make the net bigger, they would.

Yes he has but he needs to average .8 PPG to really make an impact on a PO push. That's roughly 22 points in 28 games.

Just wondering how you came to that conclusion.

Main board.

Who cares?

Missed half the game but just watched the highlights. Probably one of Swayman’s best games of the season. Nothing he could do about the three goals the Rags scored.

Happy for everyone who attended the game. A 6-3 win is pretty much guaranteed to be a fun time.

I only saw the third and came away less impressed with the Bruins' play than I have been in plenty of games they haven't won this year (though I heard countless times that they dominated the second which does seem to be verified at least by the box score). Neither team really seemed to be paying attention to details in the third and they both looked loose as hell in their own zone. Both teams are struggling to put together long stretches of good team play, and it showed in what I witnessed.

Wins are always good, but I'm always worried that wins like this will build bad habits where a team that rarely can get away with loosey-goosey pond hockey will think they can lean into it because they got the W. Hoping to see a stronger defensive effort and more physicality next game. Even if I wouldn't bet on much happening in the postseason, I'm still rooting for them to make it and I don't think the style of play I saw yesterday is what will get them there.

Adam Fox looked so dis-interested in that game, no effort at all unless he had the puck on his stick.

Poitras. You can clearly see the skill. A natural playmaker, but he also illustrates how little high end talent is on this roster. On the ice with Pasta he made perfect set up plays and they got goals.
Poor Poitras was out on the ice at the same time that Frederic was.
Poitras won a nice battle along the board's 10 ft in from the blue line. He looks up and sees Frederic skate over to screen the goalie.
He did this when the slot was completely open, a perfect shooting lane.
Duh!!! Dude...wake up!
Poitras was awarded though playing with Pasta which was nice.

Loved Coyle's game yesterday. Carried the puck well in the O zone, battled strong along the board's.

I’m really not sure what anyone ever saw in either player. Neither guy has been at all effective for longer than a shift or two at a time IMO
Both are out there just eating minutes doing nothing to swing the game either way imo.
Was ok with claiming Wahlstrom/giving him some time but 13 games has been more than enough. Especially when you have 2 prospects you’ve developed getting a game or 2 then being sent back.

Anywho,
Nice win yesterday, but it’s scary looking at the standings when most teams have 3-4 games in hand on the B’s

Scarier looking at teams future. This GM doing nothing to enhance it either .Do not want no excuses he needs to start the process.

interesting, ask em` if we should then not count the 60+ Ovechkin has in his pursuit of Gretzky

Nice win, good hockey day, watched B`s win then BCHL Grizzlies with Boston College bound Tobias Pitka later that evening

Pitka a nice player, one of those kids who does everything very well , won`t bring you outta your seats , plays all situations for the Grizzlies, very responsible 3 zone player while being almost a ppg guy too
