People say Bottom 6 is the only problem. No, its the bottom 9 really. I don't think there has been one game this season where the second line was dominate on the ice all game long. The first line is the only one that can flat out dominate games. The rest...nope.

Rask is a good goalie, but he needs to be rested. I hate the fact that he had to take part in the all-star game...the Bruins really should have made some excuse. Tuuka has been poor of late.

Having watched Krug closely tonight, I would have to say that those who think he is overvalued are out to lunch. He is so good at advancing the puck that he barely has to defend. His positioning is tremendous, and he makes great decisions/reads all over the ice. He made several seeing eye passes today that could have resulted in goals. He is really good.

This, This, and This!

Glad to see the Bruins braintrust out and about...

Great Rask pulled his groin

Probably won't see him for a while this team is in bad shape

That's what I think that the announcers were wondering.

It'll be a mercy kill if Rask and Bergy are out for any games (at this point).

Kinda figured Rasks' groin popping was a long time coming.

If Rask and Bergeron are out long-term, might as well kiss the season goodbye.

Just square pegs and round holes with Krejci and Backes. They just have no chemistry. Vatrano should be a third liner on a good team

It won't happen but to increase offensive depth I would consider putting Spooner and Pasta together and putting whoever with Bergeron and Marchand . It's not something I want to do but Spooner won't create anything on his own , at least 5 on 5 .

I would just put Bergeron, Krejci, Backes at center and just keep working wingers around them. Bring up some young guys with scoring potential, and see how it goes. I'd trade Spooner for a young winger.

To me there are two areas they are set with (of course some wont agree) Goalie, and the centers (making Backes a Center). That should be set for awhile. Just need to build out the rest...

I like Krug but that 4th Caps goal he give up the blue line them just watched as Caps watched right in and scored. He is not very good without the puck inside the hash marks in own end.Lacks muscle vs the size

This should've been done several games ago. It's not too late until it's too late so they need to think a lot more creatively if they expect to survive.

I only watch the Bruins and that's it ,so I wasn't all that familiar with Backes before he became a Bruin but in my opinion, he just doesn't have the wheels or maneuverability to be an effective center , at least at the moment . Maybe , he has lost a step, I don't know but I would rather give Spooner a chance to redeem himself the rest of the way by putting Pasta with him .

He was a Selke finalist as a center, and played pretty well last year as a center. I just don't think he looks as comfortable as a winger, but if Claude says you are a winger, then you are a winger as Seguin found out. Nothing gets through Claude's ideal line up.

I just hate playing players out of their natural position. Most times it doesn't go very well.

Agreed but when he came here he said that he looked forward to "playing wing and not center." Less skating, especially in CJ's system IMO.

I am all for trading Spooner but while he is a member of this team I would like to see him get a real shot at turning things around . Spooner, Nash and Beleskey will be lucky to score five goals the rest of the year , they should be broken up .

He didn't say that, he said he will do anything to help the team. If that means if he is asked to play wing, then he would play wing. I don't think he specifically choose Boston so he could be a winger.

I took it the other way around, that he looked forward to playing at the wing but whatever, no money out of my pocket either way.
