That is exactly what I saw happening last night especially after it was 4 - 2. Players trying to do it on their own. It's actually what lead to Winnipeg's third goal with Lohrei (rookie mistake, I bet he won't do that again). But I digress,... players trying to carry and rush the puck into the offensive zone themselves, rather than short quick passes to teammates.
McAvoy - I was hoping he would learn something sitting out seeing the game from another perspective, but he showed a lot of the same traits that are now predictable; such as in the offensive zone circling around the back of the net to the far corner trying to make a play - he either usually loses the puck and gets caught deep or make an errant pass across the middle and gets caught deep as the other team breaks out. Oh, and let's not talk about how often he misses the net when he shoots , so frustrating.
