When Gaudette is good, he's clutch and timely offense. When he's bad, he's a liability.

If he can bring the lows up a bit, hes a great depth player, but man is he frustrating to watch when he isn't on his game

His TOI/GP IS 10:40.
He's got decent skills and a player like that needs ice time. I'd like to see him get 4 or 5 more minutes per game, although that may not be in he cards with the present Sens.

To be honest, I was kinda tired of the pesky shit. I much prefer this version where we legit can compete with any team.

Love the fact that we are now collectively coming to the conclusion that we may have a sleeper playoff shitdisturber of a team.

Florida, Colorado, Winnipeg..they are elite. Ottawa is a tier below and improving with time as a young team.

Wish Norris and Jensen were available, but I expect Ottawa to go toe-to-toe against the Florida teams. Tonight will be tough as a back to back night, but they are making a habit of winning those too so I am cautiously optimistic of a good contest and a win.

Fantastic road game. Cleared those fans right out of the place early. Puts us in a solid position in the standings. Gaining ground on the teams above and putting a bit of separation with those behind us piled up in the wildcard chase.

Must also say the crew on the Prime broadcast is significantly more enjoyable listening to compared to whatever fools SN throws at us Saturday nights

SN and TSN should be ashamed of their coverage of the Senators. Prime makes them look like second class networks. Let's go "Best In Class" with PRIME.

Chabby and Sanderson have been putting up points lately because of it. Especially Sanderson.

We do not have a prime time Karlsson or Macar, but we have 4 D who can step up and play in the O zone.

Either way, the initial call was terrible, it should have been NSH who had to challenge, and the standard should have been irrefutable evidence that he was interfered with, not the other way around imo.

Yes. This is exactly what I said during the game last night. In real time there was no call on the ice other than the whistle eventually being blown. When he blew the whistle the ref didn't even know the puck was in the net. The first review to determine if the puck went in should have been what the initial review was for not to make a judgement on goalie interference. After review it gets called a good goal and NSH needs to use a challenge.

Glad we won cause those refs had a pretty rough night. Besides rolling my eyes that they took the penalty away, I was laughing pretty hard when buddy couldn't explain in the mic the reason he took away the trip called on NSH.
