It feels like all the concerns at the beginning of the season got addressed one by one. Goaltending, defence, PK, secondary scoring, then top 6 scoring.

Probably the first time we’ve had it all going at once, and we look very very good.
And we have three good players on the shelf that when they come back theoretically should improve the team even more. Ullmark yet to play & he's a former Vezina winner, Jensen should play soon & sadly put Hamonic back on the bench & Norris was just starting to roll before his nutty accident.

Amazon broadcast was impressive - it was a full Sens homers broadcast which I enjoyed they really treated the Sens like a top NHL team and we’re praising the team top to bottom.

Some great camera angles too especially the Sanderson goal had a great one. Stats packages, little history things “Gaudette was a star in college” all little nuggets really well done.

Had an NFL feel to me the way they presented the stats ockages and plays and focused on hustle and passion - the praise on the Ridley Greig empty net goal felt like an NFL call for an O Lineman blocking.

Broadcast had an American feel to it but a good one because I dont say that often for American hockey broadcast

Amazon has raised the bar for mid week broadcast, very slick whereas the Canadian mid week is relying on individual personalities more for the relationship. Still love my TSN broadcast but Amazon just has way more money for prep, graphics, sets, staff, cameras I’m sure their per game budget is 10x what TSN is spending on a Monday game.

Scoring wingers usually aren't that expensive at the deadline. (after the first batch of star players of course) The Sens could bolster their offense without paying a lot going into the playoffs. Not sure if I'd want to tinker too much with the chemistry on that roster, but if they can add a 2nd line winger without paying a premium why not.

Haven't been a buyer at the deadline in a long ass time. Would be a fun change! Perhaps the play is to go with what they have for now though, and spend assets next season.

Just amazing. We have become methodical. That's how good teams play and win against teams they should win. By sticking to a system and remaining consistent through the motions of a game. Like the Preds broadcast said, we played our best when it was 2-2. Loved it. Never looked back.

It's the defense. The defense looks sensational. Jensen back will be even greater. The defense + the team defense is just terrific, terrific stuff.

I foretold at the beginning of the year that if we are to be successful, it will be off the backs of the back-line as a defense-first team. They have answered that in a significant way.

Now Ullmark is back, should be a hell of a boost even if players falter a tad bit due to back-to-back.

Pinto is going to be the star of this team come playoff times. It'll be the same as it has been recently with He, Norris and Greig.

I listened to an extended interview with Perron while driving home from the Minnesota game Saturday. In that interview he said he initially hurt his back in training camp. To me, he looked done during his first stint. After the extended absence he looks much better, much quicker. I don't like the phrase "own rental" but it might apply here if Perron can keep pace.

Perron has been a real relief. I was worried that he might be kinda cooked but he looks like a legit middle 6 contributor.

He's been significant. People forget that Detroit was pisssseddd to lose him and called him a traitor to sign with us. He was a big part of some of their young-stars great play and production. Just his contribution on PP alone will be notable. Underrated playmaker.

If we manage to get the PP up to 30% ish
We might do some damage

This requires Stutzle to be smart with the puck. Brady too. They lose it too often off unnecessary plays or moving too match giving time for PK to close gap.

Pinto with 11 points in the past 12 games, great production from a third line centre.

Beast. Will be our Cerilli/Pageau. When everyone looking at the stars, it's him that's going to be leaned on in a big way.

This is where I think the vets we brought in will shine. Giroux, Perron, Ullmark, Jenson, Amadio have all been in this position before, they will keep the team level headed and focused on the end goal.
