Hehe … I like that he thinks Keller was playing 4 D chess , but my take is Keller is signaling that he is coming off ..I could be wrong..
But in any case it’s cool to see so many different people trying to break this play down

The broadcast crew broke it down the same way. Keller knew he couldn't get back onsides to clear the way for Guenther so he does the next best thing and heads for the bench.

The moment his skates leave the ice he's not longer offsides, even though he's on the wrong side of the blue line.

I don’t think many people lost faith in BA ( well maybe some)

I think most question AT.. he gets the team going and then is everyone s friend until they lose 4 in a row .. rinse and repeat..

He needs to raise the standard of what is acceptable and what’s not . He can’t be happy with a win .. he needs to raise the bar

He needs to hold people accountable.. not just the young guys ( Cooley)

Now he finally scratches Crouse.. better late than never..
Winning is all that matters, period. For a rebuilding team most know that winning will take time, but after 4 yrs. it's time to look at the record. I think BA will be active at this TDL as he knows we aren't good enough at the C position. Not sure what is available for UFA's this year, but that might be an option as well. Next year BA and AT have to stress to the players that the playoffs are expected.

BA/Bear should be more honest in their assessments like Torts is. Just tell it like it is...
I think they have, it's that you don't like what they say.

BA/Bear aren't anywhere close to Torts in their honest assessments to the press. Unless of course their expectation was 80 points at the start of the year, then everything is all good like they imply or say, hitting expectations, +2 improvement.....

Extremely subjective statement there if you ask me.

Not lost faith just don't believe he has the skill set for the next stages of building a team and a winning cultures. He did a great job of dismantling a team for for draft picks and prospects. When Utah is great he will be a huge factor in it I just don't believe he will be the gm. Different skills sets and message is needed.

This is very common with most successful companies. The median of CEO is 4.8 years. Different people different skill sets.

What/which skill do you feel he is lacking? He's stocked up assets. Drafted extremely well. Started the next phase of the rebuild by bringing in Sergachev and Marino (more big trades will come)...

Edit: Wasting future assets to eek into the playoffs this season just to get blown out in the first round doesn't sound all that helpful to the team IMO. Patience will be rewarded in the end.

3 skill sets I believe he's lacking. I leave emotion out of this to, at least try.

1 he's built a losing culture. He has created a belief that it's totally acceptable to lose. No clear goal posts at least prevented to the media and fans. We play horrible games and he's it's expected in a young rebuild team. Almost 25 percent of the league is our age or younger.

2 Has low urgency to make changes when injuries or disruptions to our team happens. Two clear examples is when we lost some of our top Dmen and the play of Crouse. Trades should of happened way sooner.

3 I don't believe he knows how to build a winning team with some incredible players we have. I am willing to give him one more year to see what he does. Wasting prime years of Keller and Smaltzy is foolish.

Lastly in so many marketing and fan base growth we needed to make the playoffs this year. Even if we got our ass kicked in the first round. Get to the show demand effort, entertainment and winning from our players for our fans. We are not in Arizona anymore.

Thanks for asking and listening.

I kind of agree with some of this

I think most of this is on AT , he accepts if the team “tries” hard. His standards are too low

He shouldn’t just be holding players accountable for a bad game ; he should be holding them accountable for bad passes, shot inaccuracy.. etc..

He shouldn’t be happy with a win it should be how we win.

I think a lot of BA’s comments were more to set expectations to a new fan base.. letting them know where we are in the rebuild.. and how some days they will look like the best team in the league, and other nights the worst…

Just my take
