Disclaimer: “GDT may not be 100% accurate. I got the line combos from your mom. I used to have Center Ice, Gamecenter Live, and an undercover concession worker in each arena, but this **** costs money. I will admit that my pet otter is using all up that money on his worsening opium problem. I try to not be an enabler, but I haven't had a sea urchin problem in months. Then I thought, why should I pay all this money and have a sea urchin problem to appease fans of random teams that I don't even care about anyway? Unless you are willing to take a bunch of sea urchins off of my hands, don't ***** if I get the lines wrong.” - BF

Win for Quick!

I blame me...after the kings Coyotes game I traded for Quick in my fantasy league. Then the Anaheim game happened and I was worried I cursed Quick and the kings. Luckily the team rebounded against Boston, but then with 30 seconds left he gets injured.

I am truly sorry.

A Kings Islanders game needs to be coined The TROLLPOSO Bowl

Really though what a mess our goalie position is. Jones traded. Lose Berube to waivers. Lose Bartosak to stupidity. One NHL goalie gets injured, we're lucky to have Budaj--but NOTHING of substance behind him.

I trust our scouting/dev team to address this as they always have and turn goalies into gold--but we need to survive this season!

anyone have an update on Bartosak? is he pretty much done?

Bartosak is the only real frustrating one, the other goalie situations are pretty standard. I'm skeptical if Budaj's AHL success translates to the NHL, I guess we'll see. Not feeling too confident in this game either.

He was a great backup for MTL a couple of years ago, maybe just needed his confidence back, but obviously he's not a long-term solution anyway. Though it's encouraging that with Quick down we have two veteran NHL backups.

Last I read he was loaned to a European team? He's pretty much done, at least with us. I'm not sure the Kings org would keep him even if fully exonerated somehow given what we've been through.

Budaj had some good years for the Avalanche to. As far as 3rd string goalies it doesn't get that much better

It has to be sponsored by something. Get that advertising revenue in your pocket, TROLLPOSO.

Right now in honor of my Kings friends I am taking applications from Mexican Food Trucks. Captain Mittens will be vetting the candidates along with RP and the rest of the Off Topic Regulars.
