Did you watch the rangers Penquins game last night? Pretty quite in Pittsburgh to close things out.

Rather stab my eyes out than watch a Ranger regular season game unless it is the Isles or Kings playing them or the playoffs where whomever they are playing are my 3rd favorite team.

So, all of a sudden Brown has 7 points in 6 games. Gaborik is heating up too. Nice to see.

For tonight game.. just please save enough energy for rags.. they already have thread for our game up and its hilarious :D so much crying :D

http://hfboards.mandatory.com/showthread.php?t=2027781

its absolutely mind blowing that after two years, they still remember all the 'non calls' against their team and are bitter about them

I gotta admit, Im experiencing a bit of schadenfreude by looking at that thread. self-pity circle jerks are always a spectacle

So much myopia

I also how they think they could have beat the Blackhawks. That series would have ended in 5 games as well

the hawks kings series in 2014 was one of the best series of all time IMO. One of the best playoff games was game 6 (Chicago won, LA lost) that went to OT. The first OT of that game was played at such a fanatic pace it honestly exhausted me. I will never forget that game as i was fully satisfied from a loss.
Such a great series.

Game 5 went to OT in Chicago. Winning that would've been the ultimate revenge for previous WCF. Bummed I missed the most of that game.

Ranger thread is epic. It's the internet so you will always see some of that, but that thread is almost 100% salt.

When we lost in 2010 to the Canucks, we didn't have all that strong of a team, didn't deserve to win that series.
When we lost in 2011 to the Sharks, Kopitar was out with a broken leg, no way we were winning without him.
2013 to Chicago - Out of gas and that Hawk team wasn't going to be beat.
2015 - missed the playoffs due to a myriad of reasons, in which the Kings were, themselves, responsible for most of them.

Yet all I hear from the 10 teams we knocked out in the same time period is how we lucked our way through the series, how bad calls changed the momentum, how ice girls kept unfairly sweeping away Henrik's snow wall, blah, blah, blah.

McSorley still stings. Much less since the Cups, but of course fans have long memories like that. We're emotionally attached to these teams. We're all a little crazy. The netting in Detroit. Clowe. Every fan of every team can think of a few.

Yeah, the Kings were probably going to end up winning that Ranger series one way or another, but the 3 games in LA did go to OT. It's not like the Rangers didn't have their chances.

As much as I hate them when LA was thumping Vancouver in 2012 I remember being surprised with the comments by Vancouver players and fans. They were very respectful.

The Gretzky High stick/ Fraser non-call still gets brought up at gymnasium by leaf fans and even media. it is to the point that that is what I remember now from 1993.

By every meaningful metric the Kings whooped the Rangers in a fashion that's indicative of a 4-1 series win. That's the funny part. Uh...okay, Lundqvist had more saves? I guess that goes in the win column?

can you not then just cheer for your 3rd favorite team? Seems safer.

I blame me...after the kings Coyotes game I traded for Quick in my fantasy league. Then the Anaheim game happened and I was worried I cursed Quick and the kings. Luckily the team rebounded against Boston, but then with 30 seconds left he gets injured.

I am truly sorry.
