Serious question. If this is how you feel, who would you have traded immediately following the cup? You can't use how players have played this year, you would have had to make that decision the summer they won the cup. Who would have gone?
Please lets not discount how well Hiller has played. We've dominated the play all game.
For being such a good defensive team, they sure give-up a TON of odd man rushes

Its third period down by two, the D has to pinch real low now .

I don't hate Kane...prefer Toews if I'm building a team. Same goes for Yzerman/ Sakic vs hull
He hasnt made one memorable save all game. The kings have shot every puck into his chest/logo.
Stoll and Penner would not have been re-signed, or not to a multi year big money deal like Stoll was.
That was money that could have been better spent on a younger player and then a hungry veteran.
Signing Regehr was also a huge mistake.
Look at all the recent cup winners, all have made significant trades and/or had significant additions and subtractions.
Does that mean having no highly skilled players? We know you hate Patrick Kane but even you have to acknowledge he is a huge part of Chicago's success.
I really hope we get booed off the ice when this is over.
