That beach volleyball looks much more interesting, perhaps the Kings and Ducks could just play that in the 3rd?

He nearly waited until it was too late to trade for Carter, so yeah, that's true. That trade should have been made about a week beforehand.

Obviously I was being sarcastic with those lines above, but I expect those quotes to be used as justification for not doing anything. This time when the Kings get into the playoffs as an 8 seed, they'll be out of them in a week.

He either needs to trade one of his beloved "culture changers" like Stoll or Greene to make it work with the cap, or he has to trade Richards or Brown to wake the team up, it's usually not a good idea to be trading guys playing as awful as those two.

I still think the best plan for DL is to just write off this season and do some major evaluations this summer when you will have plenty of cap space.

Dean really needs to stop clinging to the 2012 team, that team is history, this team is stale, time to add some new hungry blood and say goodbye to atleast one key player from that team.

100% agree , this season is done, Lombardi hancuffed himself giving Stoll 3 mill and RR an extension ....

Gonna foolishly ask for my money back as a symbol of how awful this is but not expecting anything to come of it but more platitudes and "built for the playoffs" buzzwords

The only trade DL did very good and actually win was with Carter.

I don't think he's a very competent of GM when it comes to making trades sadly, he even *****ed about firing TM. He has some serious flaws.
 
At this point it would be better if the ducks put up like 8 goals. But noooooo they're gonna stop at two and make us look comptetitive

I really don't disagree, but why refer to him as "The Russian" and why do you defend players who have been even worse, while making significantly more money.

We know you hate skilled players, especially Europeans, but come on.

end of 2nd stat: 13 scoring chances for the Kings?!? :laugh: 13?!?! I see they're quite liberal tonight in the definition of "scoring chances".
