What makes me question their plan is that they've been rebuilding for too long. I would never want Habs to be rebuilding for that long.

They have two more wins than the Habs since 2015-2016.
6 less since 16-17.
5 less since 17-18.
20 less since 18-19.
11 less sinxe 19-20.
9 less since 20-21.
2 less since 21-21.
11 less since last year.
3 less wins this year.

Theyre exactly in the same position we are. They had a competing core from 05 to 15 and have since been rebuilding. The new GM argument doesnt work either, as Verbeek has been hired a month after Kent.
