How about skilled grit. How about that. Even guys like Andres Lee, Landeskog, Gallagher, Jamie Benn, MacKinnon, drop the gloves and have attitude in their game. Our leaders are Panarin and Mika so soft and very vanilla so sad. Kreider is the only one in the top 6 that would defend a teammate. I dont wanna hear it is not in their game. You do what you have to defend a teammate or yourself.

Kakko and Lafreniere both project to be highly skilled players who have some sandpaper/tough to play against style, due to their size and strength.

Chytil has size too but someone has to get through to him. Perhaps it should be the coach, but others seem to think it should be the hot dog vendor or anyone but the coach apparently.

Canucks are looking very leaky. There’s no excuses if we go into the first intermission down 1-0

If I were @ msg Right now I’d start eyeballing the train schedule for an early exit from this diarrhea on ice …

this is shambolic … we have 6 decent players and an all world goalie

bad team

Chytil always gets hurt. I do see the sandpaper in Lafreniere, I don’t see that with Kakko yet but he reminds me of Hossa uses his body to shield the puck. That is a good trait to have too. I hope Kakko adds the grit factor. With his size, I feel he can do some damage physically.

To be a LITTLE fair to Panarin, his style of play works better with some skill on the line. Imagine if we gave him some.
He’s played with Patrick Kane, PL Dubois, Matt Duchene, and yet the best season of his career was with Strome and Fast

He was amazing for the first half of the season, but he's really been fighting it since the all star break.
Everyone but Igor has been fighting it a bit. If this doesn't catch up to them before the playoffs, then i suppose I shrug my shoulders, but this isn't sustainable.
