Whenever I hear Nino Niederreiter it sounds like Ned Neiderlander

Here's the problem, all of these guys have lowered their trade values. Now, I'm not saying they were high to begin with but there's no reason to feel like any of these players will be "targeted" if we go into sell mode. The only potential value players (and I am having a hard time convincing myself) would be Pastrnak (he can still score despite his no D approach), Marchand (with the right line mates he is valuable plus his PK ability), Swayman (and he's going nowhere), Lindholm (only a prayer that another team needs a depth center and is willing to pay the price - watch around the NHL for key center injuries), and McAvoy (largely due to being a RHD). Outside of that list you're getting nothing of significant value elsewhere on the roster (maybe Geekie). This is a quickly sinking ship and the fire sale should start soon with current, younger roster players targeted as returns and draft picks secondarily.
DS isn’t going to sell crazy. If he can find a way to move a couple difficult players, this season will be a success.

Yeah, gonna be tough. But if they can move Coyle and slot Lindholm into that slot, that would really help. If DS can pull that off, I’ll be satisfied. Moving Korpi would be awesome, but that’s asking too much.

Well typically we hear the devalue of Bruin players. There are teams that can make a run for the Cup who are willing to Pay a good price for many different Bruins players.

I don't disagree with this but Monty had no interest being here anymore. That Blues deal was done on the golf course in the offseason. I do fear that if we continue to hover at this spot in the standings, if we make it to the playoffs we're just going to get run over badly. My feeling, and this guts me, is to blow it up now and plan for the future because there's no duck boat parade this season for this team.
I take playoffs anytime gotta have a lotto ticket to win the lottery. We have the same chance as the juggernaut jets. Who knows Jets play kings and get knocked out 1st round. We play leafs again and we go to round 2. Playoffs are impossible to predict . Get in.

I think that’s the first time I’ve seen the words “Jets” and “Generational Team” used in the same sentence.

They’re very good, but let’s not get carried away now…..
Yeah really. A lot of the underlying numbers say they're largely being carried by a goalie who makes standing on his head look routine. Ain't no way a defensive group outside of Morrisey like they have is doing anything without thar
