I have never once felt compelled to cheer for another countries anthem. And I doubt that I ever will.

Something tells me slewidge wouldn't mind in the least. And if he does, that's his problem, not ours.

I even cheer for other teams in international hockey. Czech Republic in 1998. Sweden, Finland, etc. other years.

You think I'm gonna cheer f***ing Corey Perry, Ryan Getzlaf, Chris Pronger, and Sidney Crosby on after they beat my teams asses and gloated on their way to the much more important trophy? Simply because they were born in Canada long ago before they moved to the US? Ya f*** that. Never understood how I'm all of a sudden supposed to passionately cheer them on after that while the majority of Senators were on other teams.
