Ottawa is a legit Stanley Cup contender - can beat anyone in a 7 game series
I won't go that far.

We need to get well into a playoff position, not just a wildcard, and play winning hockey in a few playoff rounds before I would say "SC contender".

73.7% in faceoffs too.

Ottawa is that team that no one will want to play come playoffs, nobody will pick Ottawa to win a series but with our goaltending, coaching, depth and desire these guys are going to win.

Not to compare it to Guy Bouchers team (that was ugly ugly hockey) but same kinda vibes of a team fully bought in and loving being on the ice together

Josh Albatross scores again - shorthanded.

What's the story here? Someone started calling him an albatross?

Norris is skating very well and playing a good game; not afraid of getting hit.. Shoulder must feel better than new!

I was looking at NHL Edge recently and Josh Norris was among the fastest skaters in the league. He's not in the Top-10 anymore but he's one of the best skaters out there. If his production can be at least 0.75 PPG, he's a keeper!

You play it safe, I’m just going on what I see happening on the ice. Ottawa is a top 5 NHL team, haven’t seen a team we can’t beat and I’d be confident we could beat anyone. And I mean every team

Feels like that 4 day break was like an entire off season for Norris, he’s skating beautifully and looks totally regenriszed
I know many won't agree with me on this board, but Norris has been the best forward for the last 5-6 games or so: strong 2-way play, great in the dot, great on the PK and now has re-discovered his scoring touch, and not even relying on his one-timer. He's never looked better IMO.

LFG = Lets f***in go

We need to get Ullmark, Jensen and Cousins back, send Highmore back to Belleville and get a 4th line bruiser (like Olivier) to replace Gaudette. Then we will be a much better team.

I’m a huge Norris fan so I agree with you. He just has a vibe of a big goal guy

Are you saying this team is as good as the 16-17 team that went to the conference finals?
