I wonder how bad Mark Scheifele is hurting after getting run out there last game. Morrissey has to travel with an obvious illness impeding him.

Not expecting the best road trip, 2 out of 3 wouldn't be bad.

I just don't see Lambo and Nicky playing well together. They're both too chaotic.

Posted a breakdown of the Jets season in 16 game blocks, might as well share it here too - so far the current block of 16 is off to a good start - let’s keep it going!

Jets breakdown

15-1-0 - 93.75% Oct 9 to Nov 12 (35) 9H 7A

7-8-1 - 46.9% Nov 14 to Dec 14 (31) 6H 10A

9-5-2 - 62.5% Dec 17 to Jan 20 (35) 11H 5A

3-0-0 - 100% Jan 22 to Mar 7 (45) 6H 10A

I still have nightmares of the early 2.0 years when we would be fighting for a wild card... and the caps - who sucked - would always roll through and blow us out just to fk things up

I had a very rough night, as I was stewing about all this, so please forgive me. I try to make this place a lot of fun and something for everyone to enjoy, but when "I" don't even get to enjoy it, then there is a problem. I see the pictures have been removed by the mods and I thank them for that.

Sorry I missed the original GDT. I think I speak for pretty much everyone when I say how much we appreciate you here. You’re one of the few who gets us sharing some of our personal stories.

I have always enjoyed your stories about your experiences with your Mom and really respect that you put that out there unashamedly.

While the Jets are on the road Chevy better be doing what the Avs did.
Set up his team to win this year and additional years and manage the Cap Space and NOT lose Ehlers for nothing!
#27 as I type this is probably talking to a realtor for his new place. Don't F*** it up Chevy.

Avs traded a bigger piece of their team than Ehlers is to the Jets, judging by the way Ehlers has been treated here. (Ehlers is my fav player on the Jets BTW and I don't want to lose that player for nothing)

Things I like to see today vs Habs:
- Ehlers not going to the wrong bench after a long shift.
- Laine not scoring on a Muffin-Shot
- Hung over Jets players
- Jets getting at least PP :)
- Helly getting support from teammates & playing responsible
- and last but not least, Ehlers remembering to board the plane after the game with teammates (unless he was traded post game :sarcasm:)

I didn't see the original GDT but condolences on the passing of your mom. Appreciate all you do around here, @macmaroon !

I think Ehlers wanted to wait until the new cap is announced for next year to sign. Those negotiations go on percentage of cap, so he’d be leaving a bunch of cash on the table. Also taking a gamble on himself that he’d have a good year.

I’m hoping he is signed during 4 nations, as the cap will be announced prior (apparently). But while I’m hoping that - I’m expecting it all to be done in the off season. Hope we keep him.
