I’ve said this before but Kravtsov on the Panarin/Strome line does not work. They’re too damn lazy. Kravtsov looked way better with Zibanejad/Buch

Dont know why they can't figure out that the dman has to carry the puck out past the blueline if thats an option. If you try and pass through the trap this is what you get, and we have guys, Fox, jones, Reunanen that can break that with their skating....gimme a break

That's part of the system. The Rangers don't allow their d to skate the puck out of the zone, or atleast that's not the preference.

I despise David Quinn. Like truly.

But hard to blame him for that second goal.

Disagree. Two coachable breakdowns there.

1) Gaut makes a cross ice Hail Mary through coverage. Islanders would have dumped it back low.

2) Smith steps up and tries to handle the puck with no support behind him. Has to throw it deep unless he knows he has support.

These are things you expect to see in the first week of the season, not in the last 5 games...

while we’re at it, on the first goal, Kravtsov is on the dude on the half wall, Strome puck watches and drifts over instead of picking up the guy coming late.
