That fourth line is going to do one or more of the following in today's game:

1) Commit minor penalties.
2) Get trapped within their own zone.
3) Allow a goal (or goals).
4) Get involved in an unnecessary fight.

5) get some sort of fluky goal

got to have one good possibility right?

Lucic will be in his beast mode tonight so I'm not so sure the Bruins have a decent at winning lol. When that guy is 'on' he goes ape. We would have never comeback vs Toronto in that game 7, if it weren't for him( and PattyB, of course.).

Will be exciting and I'm sure Boston will give him an awesome tribute video. Either way, we need points badly so if the Kings have to win them hopefully they score in overtime before the shootout so at least they'd still get an ROW.

Have fun everyone! :)

I know lucic will be skating hard, but not sure about beast mode. He is the best when he is very physical. Will he really be lining up past teammates and friends?

By beast mode I meant skating hard and not lining up Bruin players. Sorry I should have worded that better.

Honestly I'm not surprised in the slightest that Pearson got scratched. He hasn't looked the same since he broke his leg. He needs a game or two to get back to basics and just play hockey. He's not scratched for a lack of effort, it's just that his production isn't there right now. I'm hoping he can turn it around because the team really needs it with Carter not scoring.

Good point...

When the **** did the Kings start scratching guys for lack of production?

Sutter's got a boat anchor on each line.... Offense may be hard to come by tonight....

Edit: Shore scratched too? ...

Pearson has 0 goals and 2 points since 1/1/16. Longest scoring drought out the season with 14 games. Also went 10 games between goals earlier. His last ES goals was 12/26, before that was 12/11, and it was that 10 game stretch before that. 3 goals in the last 34 games. In the lineup, out of the lineup, is it too much of a loss at the moment?

There's that physicality Clifford brings that we apparently need so badly. Way to shake off the concussion syndromes by getting punched in the face and not playing for the next 5 minutes.

Nice to see #4 already taken care of.

Clifford needs to stop fighting, he's a punching bag, and he looks weird wearing a visor.

Just don't understand what anyone sees in that, just a ridiculous sequence of events.

Now onto the real game and real hockey players.

When was the last time Clifford even won a fight?

And hey, Errorhoff goes to the box earlier in the most obvious hook I've seen since...well the last game.

Just stop, Clifford. Stop fighting.

In defense of Clifford, what does he bring if he isn't willing to occasionally fight?

The guy hasn't scored a goal in over a half seasons worth of games, he is basically an offensive blackhole at this point.

Has to do something to make his presence felt.

I defended Ehrhoff for slightly longer than some around here, but only about a week longer. Its pretty hard to be a waste of space at 1.5 mill, but Christ almighty hes been terrible going on two months now..
