I mean don't need to post fancy stats,
Skinner is just generally big, by NHL standards he have zero mobility, he doesn't read plays well, he often badly positioned, he stay on his knees overly, and he have somewhat decent-ish reflex and lets not talk about puck handling and rebound control.
Someone gets it

If your $2.6M goalie lets in 2 goals in a game, and you have an elite offense that are among the highest paid in the league to score, spending the entire game complaining about only the goalie is a bit imbalanced.

Will this excuse persist when he gets his inevitable raise and continues this level of play?

I'm surprised it's not 5-1.

Teams know that they just need to blow their load in the first 5-10 minutes to sink our goalie. This will happen again in the playoffs and cost us another cup

But the Oilers have only scored 2 goals or less 15 times, and Skinner has allowed 3 goals or more 20 times this year (21 including tonight). Could it be that you blaming the offense is… wrong?
