That was a bad shift by Johansen's line. First Foligno overhandles it, and then Johansen let his man (Staal) get behind him.

If you watched Johansen before Staal took the puck, Semin cut across the middle and Johansen batted it away. It landed right on Staal's stick and he was already by him. Hence why it made it look like Joey was out of position. Just unlucky really.
