I thought we could score 1 goal tonight. Apparently not. No way we get 2.I think our game plan was to play Minnesota's game and win 1-0 in the shootout.

How many times has Dach fallen tonight? Flashes of KK
yeah..emil - who is going to be great imo, helped turn that 4th line into the best in the league. We have Dobes essentially steal wins while our PP and 3rd line were a legit threat each game.
Other than Suzuki and Caufield. Nothing screams playoff team
Why? I got a chuckle out of it......not funny, amigo...seriously not funny...
Thats no excuse.Everyone looks exhausted. Laine on the last shift could barely stay on his legs.
NO. He was recovering from the injury.Guess he’s been tired all season
Agreed 100%What we see is what was expected. The team is not ready. It was never meant to be. Again people got caught evaluating a team during a good sequence instead of looking at the big picture. The team is where it was supposed to be. Not bottom 5 anymore. In the mix for a good part of the year. But ultimately not experienced and good enough to make it and should draft anywhere in between 8th and 15th. And the plan should still be to sell despite what everyone think. Those vets are not good enough when they are not being carrier by Hutson, Suzuki, Caufield, Montembeault, Guhle, .... all those vets are easily replaceable even Evans i like him but he's a 3rd line player you can find one without too much trouble it should not be a priority atm.
Yeah he is actually dogmeat it's insaneOur second line left winger is on pace for 21 points
Let that sink in. Never been benched, sat. Gets PP time
Its beyond lunacy that he is just penciled in and doesnt need to produce
At least he has the excuse of missing a lot of hockey. But guys like Armia, Anderson, Evans, all look like they have cement feet in the last few games.Guess he’s been tired all season
Seriously what's up with that? I understand that ice is slippery but...They're ALL falling tonight. At least nobody's getting season ending surgery by falling on their asses.
And replace him with who?Yeah he is actually dogmeat it's insane
It’s no excuse. Just wondering if the team has poor conditioning overall.Thats no excuse.
No idea why people peddled that as an excuse last week.
i don't get the reference......not funny, amigo...seriously not funny...
Yes it is. I'm not arguing this is not a positive year quite the contrary. It is a positive year. But those 15 game should not change the plan. At the beginning of the year the plan was to sell the UFAs and the plan should not have changed. Let's say you trade Evans for a 1st, Savard for a 2nd and Armia for a 3rd. Maybe we have to add 4th round picks to those players to make it work (we have four 4th round picks in the next two drafts). Then we have three 1st, three 2nd and four 3rd at the next draft. Is it too many picks? yes. But you can use those as leverage in a trade during the draft. Either to draft higher in the 1st or if a big name in his 20ies becomes available then you instantly becomes a serious contender to acquire him.I agree with you, but the dominant 15 games is still a huge positive even for a tanker like myself, at least for Caufield Nick Hutson Dobes Monty Slaf Ghule and somewhat Laine , everybody else is kind of a wildcard and will be replaced when we become a good team AKA we can survive and deal with Dach and Newhook never becoming great lol
