I mean seriously…

k-z-l
b - s - good/Chytil
Barron - Chytil/good - goat
Hunt - Rooney - Reavo

It’s inarguably a better lineup given who is healthy and available. Not rocket science. NHL coaches are too “clever” for their own good.

Whats funny is that it will probably morph into that lineup, less Barron, before the night is through - or maybe even after the first. It doesnt make much sense.

I can't believe I have to watch 3rd liner Gregg McKegg tonight. We're clearly in a playoff spot, why not see what we have in Barron and if he can contribute more than McKegg?

I wish we got MSL..

Run of the mill maize whiskey?
Go for Montana Roughstock Rye

Never had that. Ill give it a shot.

Got a bottle of Bird Dog's black cherry at my desk. We've been hitting it a work on Fridays. Its cheap, like $20 or so but pretty damn good!

I never drank a Bud in my life LOL...when I did drink it was mostly early on Ten Penny/ Moosehead/Alpine /Molson /Labatts Blue and at the last Coors Light ! I doubt many on here are familiar with those 3 early brands all made by Moosehead Breweries in New Brunswick . Good old Maritime beers.....I think Errol Thompson /Maple Leafs /Penguins/Wings was a Moosehead rep after he retired from hockey .

I'm a craft beer guy, I tend to venture more downtown, there is a cool little place called The Blind Tiger, Also like Barcade, they have a nice selection of Craft beer and can play some games also. I don't consider Bud Light or Coors beer, lol.

It’s either $14 or $16 for a tall boy of Bud light now. Drink and eat before the game. Your whole tab + tip will be the price of 2-3 beers.

Can get a nice Craft beer like an Imperial Stout or DIPA for like $8 anywhere else. It's a joke how much it costs at the game. I never eat either, maybe a pretzel, that's about it.

I don't live in New York City, but if I did, I'd much sooner take advantage of one of the great downtown eateries before or after the game. If you're gonna spend 70 dollars on food, might as well be something that isn't hot dogs on a stale bun for 11 dollars.

I always eat outside or near my home in forest hills before the game. Most i will get at the game is a soda since I don’t really drink. weed always makes me thirsty more so than hungry lmfao

Hunt on the second line. McKegg on the third. Goodrow on the fourth. Barron in the press box.

Galaxy brain stuff, all over again.

At the MINIMUM it is inexcusable to think that McKegg on the third and Goodrow on the fourth does ANY good. Oh, spreading the depth… there is no depth. Put Goodrow on the third and play the fourth sparingly, the end. Sure, Chytil to the second and Hunt to the third (or Barron with Hunt knocking McKegg out of the lineup) would be even better. But at a minimum, there’s no excuse for “spreading the depth” by having McKegg on the third line.

I think it's pretty much guaranteed that the 4th line gets more ice time than the 3rd line. Whatever line McKegg is on will always get the lest amount of minutes.

Absolutely. You have infinite options for a few pints of good beer and an actual worthwhile meal before the game. Eating and drinking at the game is not just a rip off, it’s paying a premium for sub-par refreshments.

Exactly. Let me have 3 good strong beers for $24 and a plate of wings before the game and I’m out maybe $40 with a nice buzz. $40 at the Garden gets me two and half Bud lights.

Same here brother. I’ll have to look up Blind Tiger. Barcade is fun. We should put together an HFNYR get together at a decent beer spot to watch one of the remaining games on the schedule.

do u just not drink at all?

if u do drink than i am honestly curious as to why u never tried beer?
I do not drink at all and I’ve never been drunk but I have tasted vodka, rum, coolers, whiskey, wine, etc. I grew up in a house with an uncle who is the most severe alcoholic imaginable and his choice of drink is beer. He drinks 30+ per day and doesn’t even eat food because he is so full of beer. He eats maybe 5 meals per week. I’ve never seen him sober in my life, or really anything but absolutely shitfaced drunk. So that’s probably why I never desired to try beer lol. ive had a sip of NON-ALCHOLIC beer, and if real beer tastes anything like that… it was absolutely disgusting. Far worse than any other form of alcohol imo. Best tasting was coolers or Malibu.

Blind Tiger is good stuff, here is their link, Blind Tiger Ale House . If you don't mind taking the subway, would need to jump on the 1 - train and get off Christopher Street. Also, am all for a HFNYR Meet.

Don't bother. I got a pretzel at the Garden the other night and was literally glorified cardboard with salt.

I resorted to dousing it with heavy amounts of mustard to justify the $12.89 I paid.

Yeah they are pretty horrible now, used to be decent. You can go to a lot of these pubs in the area get one of those giant pretzels and it's fresh, and comes with a homemade beer cheese, and/or mustard.

Beer does taste terrible, I think.. The first beer I ever had, I "accidentally" spilled so that I never had to finish it. But your body eventually associates the taste with alcohol, and it becomes delicious at that point. Same as coffee.
