This is the correct answer.Tanev.
100%. I remember when we got him in the trade and I checked out a skills video he did this summer and was genuinely excited. Then the reports about him and malkin developing serious chemistry during offseason had me stoked. Now he literally is as you said a shell of the player that he could be. The guy has silk hands and a wicked shot but you would never know that from this season.Galchenyuk is the epitome of a player who has lost his mojo. He is a ****ing shell of a player right now. It's sort of sad, IMO. He has talent. He is so unconfident.
If Sid can do what he did with Dupuis, he could turn Tanev into a 30 goal, 60 point player.
I actually would not mind Galchenyuk with Malkin and Rust, it's better for everyone if he does well there so they can dupe some team to taking him.its not easy for sully, Jake and Dom left a big hole especially since no one stepping up...
switch ZAR and Chucky
I would not argue that for a second. This coaching staff's obsession with Ruhwedel makes no sense to me. I think Riikola is head and shoulders better than him.
No all he needs to do is stop neutralizing them. Its not hard and they don't need to play together.
Simon - Sid - Horny
McCann - Geno - Rust
Zar - TB - Tanev
Chuck - Lafferty - Angello
Rikola/JJ - Letang
Petts - Marino
Rikola/JJ - Schutlz
The lineup shouldn't be that hard.
Simon and Hornqvist. Just for now.
As someone who likes to compare Tanev to Duper, I gotta agree.

Worth a shot.
NopeAnyone else's NhL.tv app freeze up every couple minutes?
I know this is sacreligious to hear but if you were just to have watched the last four periods of Pens-Flyers, you would come to the conclusion that the Flyers are much better than the Pens...very disturbing
