Sully just needs to let Sid and Geno go together. It's far from ideal, but you can't win when things are so diluted up front that it's neutralizing both of them to play them apart.

No all he needs to do is stop neutralizing them. Its not hard and they don't need to play together.

I don't like this teams compete with both Sid and G back.
Yes, Kahun and Dumo hurt ALOT but theres a palpable down shift in their focus/play vs when Sid was out.

The JJ-Letang pairing sets you back before you even take pre-game warm up.
It's so horrid.
It's a top pairing of a team like BUF, it's so bad.

Thru 5 periods PHI has easily been the better team and looks like a team that should have our record and us theirs.

I wish Sully would be quicker to pull the plug on line combos when they're not working. McCann looks like a fish out of water with Sid and Simon, Tanev's speed is being wasted right now with ZAR and Blueger, and dressing Ruhwedel was a questionable choice given he's looked horrible on his off side.

this is actually perfect... this team needs two scoring forwards... it needed one to replace Gally before Jake went down... this is obviously what every team is going to do this postseason... it needs beaten into their thick skulls that this format is going to kill them unless they get some serious upgrades that can score when teams are playing tight D

Please put Lafferty back in the lineup. Chucky isn’t a neutral, he actively is a minus player night after night

Out of last 5 games, he was in - only once, but hey nice try. Lafferty has looked even worse, and that says a lot when you compare him to Galchenyuk.

Dead serious here, it's almost like the other 18 skaters take a "well, Sid and Geno will score for us" attitude when both guys are in the lineup, but realize they actually have to work their asses off if the Pens are missing one or both of them.

You constantly heard "we need to pick up the slack" when Sid and Geno are out, but it's like they don't feel like they need to when both are playing.

I battled with people about him being on the wing. The dude was drafted as a 2 way center. His game aligns better with a center. Sure he can play wing, but he's not a winger.
