I once applied to be an official scorer for the Brooklyn Cyclones. I told them how I was keeping score of the game and the official scorer f***ed up the count which then led to the umpire f***ing up the count because umpires in baseball suck too. They did not respond. Asking for someone else’s job is probably not a good look.

It was no later than 2017 because I know that’s the last time I kept score. I used to do it all the time. But now I’d rather just drink.

It would’ve been a side gig just for fun and maybe weasel my way into a software engineering job for the Mets.
