That's just a good play by Johanssen nothing Jones could do.

Would be nice to see Kopitar come alive at some point .

Give up a goal with a minute to go. Well played. and wtf was Sutter doing putting the 4th line out there in the last minute.?

I think the Jordan Nolan experiment at C is over. Vey or Lewis slide down to 4th line C and move Nolan back to RW.

At this point it becoming obvious, if the Kings are playing well, take a bunch of penalties to kill their momentum and eventually get the lead.

What's wrong with having the fourth line out with a minute left? I'm not being sarcastic, I'm curious if that is uncommon. I've never really though about it.

The theory is, the last minute of the period sets the tone for the next period, so if you take a goal or a penalty in the last period means no momentum to start the second. I believe in that idea though seen it happen a lot. The fourth line should never play the last minute of the period imo.

Remember, this team is going to be sore and tired and slow. 4 Games in 6 days is just silly.

I didn't expect January to be good, the schedule in January was the hardest part of the season.

Kings need to take advantage of March though, it has a cupcake schedule.

Because lately for some reason, going back to the last 7 or 8 games, I've noticed the Kings back down during the last minute of every game , and the 4th line has been out every time. Happened last night as well as the end of the Wings game.

I think we are slow and tired right now. By the end of this road trip it will be beyond sore if they are playing this way.

Yeah, I can say that without a doubt that the Kings are two steps slow today. Sutters trying to change up the shift a lot and it's hurt the Kings a couple times. CBJ is not the team to play against in this scenario. They are all young and quick.

So, with Carter being booed, it struck me...

Kobe in Denver = Carter in Columbus...

...and booing in both case is illogical.

You really don't understand the difference, and why they boo Carter in Columbus?

Do you think if the shoe were on the other foot that we wouldn't be booing Carter? This is the same group that booed Ilya Kovalchuk when he came to Staples Center.

I'm happy things worked out for Carter and the Kings, he has been a great fit on and off the ice and obviously helped the Kings accomplish great things. However his actions in Columbus both on and off the ice were unprofessional from the second he got traded there, and those fans have the right to voice their displeasure with the way JC acted.

Now I'm done defending the city of Columbus for the rest of my life.

CLB playing sloppy and taking a bunch of penalties. One power play goal Kings are right back in this.
