GDT: Game #51 Avs @ Sharks May the Fifth & Cinco de Mayo 7:30 MT

Yes but follow through is not a penalty. Mack should know that.

It's not clear that it was a follow through. It was out of frame on the live shot, and the replay didn't show where the puck was.

It looked like it might have been a follow through, but it also looked like he might have been trying to lift Nate's stick while the puck was being cleared.

They didn't specify but it sure seemed that way. I believe they also say "diving" if that's what the penalty is for.

That seems to be discretionary to the referee. Some say "embellishment" others don't seem to give a shit about sugar coating it and just call it "diving."

I think it's actually listed as diving/embellishment in the rule book.

McNab is one of the best colour guys there is. Moser isn't bad either. For all we get called for Altitude being homers, these 2 guys actually give credit to opponents. Listen to NESN. They are actual homers. f***ing Jack Edvards especially.

I agree they aren’t the most homer group, I’m meaning as broadcasters in general. The rants they go on, to walking all over each other, to just absolutely incorrect observations... it’s bad. I listen to them because they are the ones that call for my team and I like avs-centric talk but it’s painful. All of this is just my opinion of course and I don’t want to hijack the thread on the topic but man.... it’s painful to listen to them bumble along every game for me personally.

Wild up 2-1 lol nice

Nathan mustve went over the line bad. He probably watched Scarface before this game.

My guess is it's more about his history of barking at referees than what he said in this specific instance. The ref was probably tired of it and wanted to send a message.

Kadri just refused to pass to Newhook there in transition.

He got closed off on along the wall multiple times with Newhook open a few feet away, but kept trying his individual plays. Almost resulted in another turnover too.
