Lose this game and the Kings are 6-6-1 in the last 13 games. In several of those games they have looked really bad

I'm sorry, but this is constantly brought up, and IMO it's a stupid excuse for when the Kings lay an egg.

Teams get up for the Hawks too, they used to get up for the Wings and Avs back in the day. Teams get excited when they play championship caliber teams, it's not a valid excuse for the Kings sucking.

Show me in my post where I gave the Kings a pass for sucking. I'll wait.

I don't think it's an excuse it's merely an observation, one even Luke Schenn made this morning. You get every team's best. He confirmed that.

Kings have to match that though, can't not show up on any given night and win, or this happens.
 
They're down and bringing nothing. The Ducks haven't stopped skating. One ridiculous bounce from down 4-0.

And one team falls flat when it counts the most.
 
7 home games against Pacific teams, not including tonight yet, but the Kings have given up at least 3 goals in 6 of the 7, and scored more than 2 in only 2 of the 7. This game actually makes sense.
 
I mean, Ducks are just picking pucks out of the air perfectly and we can't get a positive bounce...one of those nights.

Need to skate harder and better to make your own luck though. Kings still look disinterested and it's pissing me off.
 
Aside from the skating, the Kings are getting out muscled in every puck
battle.

YEah it's not flawless but pretty damn close, all their passes are money and they're skating well enough to get the benefit of the bounces on top of winning ANY contested puck. The game score is exactly where it 'deserves' to be.
 
The entire of month of January they looked bored and just stopped playing once they had leads. They can't continue this trend.

Jeff Carter clearly is still not right. Keep an eye on him, he cannot do anything with the puck on his stick...puck cannot leave the ice

Shots 22-13, lol. What a shameful showing by this team. At least show some pride in the third. So sick of losing so badly on national tv.
 
Great, now we have to hear how great the Duck are, and how Getzlaf is the so good, and they look like contenders again ,blah blah blah
