GDT: Game 51: Anaheim Ducks at Los Angeles Kings | Thursday, Feb 4 2016 - 7:00PM PT

I usually like the dark jerseys at home, but I gotta admit, the Kings look really nice in white. (in regards to the Ducks jerseys, they would look a lot better with white numbers instead of black, imo. more legible too.)

oh and... *cough GO TROJANS cough*

Every one that I've seen, we've been blown out in, they're not close. I don't get it. Small sample size and all but it's a head scratcher.

I guess it's one part 'team getting up for the Kings,' one part 'team getting up for national tv,' one part 'Kings aren't engaged enough to not get ****ing speedbagged by another NHL team'.

Like I"m trying not to take credit away from the Ducks, but I seriously have no clue who these guys are right now.

I know we lost to the Sharks, Wild, Avs, probably the Ducks. I'm sure I've left a team off, the Leafs?
 
Did you know...

The Kings, before this game, were giving up 3.14 goals per game at home to Pacific teams. Those are their worst defensive numbers. Next worst is 2.5 goals against on the road against Metro teams, and then 2.43 against on the road against the Atlantic.

Also, against Pacific teams, they're averaging their lowest goals for on home ice at 1.86. It's 2.25 at home against the Central, 2.6 at home against the Metro, and a cool 3 at home against the Atlantic.

The game tonight is completely normal this season.

That's why I don't think it would be too bad if the Kings vs a team from the central in the first round. They get up for teams in the central, but they just suck against the Pacific.

That is absolutely terrible and really unacceptable. Those are the most important games...

I think you're dreaming. The Ducks are totally dominating the Kings just like last year. This time BB has taken a page from Carlyle, sleep walk early and turn it on in the new year.
 
Question is, can we win this period 3-0 at the very least? Gonna take a completely different effort.

At home. They're 9-1, with 38GF, and 18GA on the road against Pacific teams. They don't score more, or give up less, on the road against any other division.

It's weird.
 
Is the feed being goofy for anyone else, or is it just my DirecTV trying to send me a message about turning this **** off?

They've played 2 games, the Kings won the first. That sure seems like domination. They've been their worst enemy tonight with every mistake going into the net. Eliminated the messy play and it's probably a tie game.
