Yeah out top six has been horrible since early December. Like, not even playing as good as players getting half their salaries play.

Yeah, there's no excuse for how bad they've been. Like, perhaps this is the worst we've seen a top-6 group play in the last 20 years for this long a stretch. As I've said they're obviously all tired af, but other players have managed to step up, especially on D, and it's not like they're playing any less.

Honestly wins aside it’s just hard to watch. They’re winning more than they have in years but it’s not enjoyable hockey at all right now.

Same here. As bad as they're playing I'm not going to judge them too much on the tail end of a back to back less than 24 hours apart after playing a million games the last few weeks.

With that said though, they need to show up on Thursday and bring some energy.

It is absolutely brutal to watch, but Travis Green isn't in the entertainment business. This is how they have to play to be able to compete.

They have looked like this for last 25 games. COMPLETELY INEPT OFFENSIVELY WITHOUT A SINGLE CONSISTENT BEAT AND SLOPPINESS EVERYWHERE.

We scored the least goals in the NHL since November 1st. It is not just a sequence

A while? They played fine against Toronto. They produced decent chances and only got two goals. Tonight they are playing terribly, but that usually means a plateau of some sort has been reached and a breakthrough is coming. When I used to compete in sports, having a really terrible day or week generally led to a breakout.

I don’t blame Green. They spent a long time trying to win with offense and they couldn’t do it. He’s working with what he has, it’s just painful.
