Does it? They look just as anemic as ever to meIt feels like the breakout is coming.

Yeah out top six has been horrible since early December. Like, not even playing as good as players getting half their salaries play.
If they were getting chances and playing well I'd feel the same, but they're not doing that.It feels like the breakout is coming.
Honestly wins aside it’s just hard to watch. They’re winning more than they have in years but it’s not enjoyable hockey at all right now.If they wins, i forget everything
I dunno about that. I can see this team coming back much stronger after the break, especially if they manage to stick around a WC spot.
I'm talking over the last however many games. I am not just talking about tonight. But a solid third could change a lot.If they were getting chances and playing well I'd feel the same, but they're not doing that.

Yeah they haven't been playing great for a while now, not just tonight. That Boston game might have been the worst game I've seen the top 6 of any Sens team play. Generated nothing and got f***ing boxed out on a 5 on 3.I'm talking over the last however many games. I am not just talking about tonight. But a solid third could change a lot.
Isn't he up for the Vezina?... Every goalie's wet dream is to play the Sens. Just ask Korpi! FFS!Vemelka isn't even that good. How tf can we not even score on mediocre goalies?
This is the the exact type of offensive neutering that Travis Green did to Vancouver though.Honestly wins aside it’s just hard to watch. They’re winning more than they have in years but it’s not enjoyable hockey at all right now.
It is absolutely brutal to watch, but Travis Green isn't in the entertainment business. This is how they have to play to be able to compete.Honestly wins aside it’s just hard to watch. They’re winning more than they have in years but it’s not enjoyable hockey at all right now.
This isn't a scheduling thing.
They have looked like this for last 25 games. COMPLETELY INEPT OFFENSIVELY WITHOUT A SINGLE CONSISTENT BEAT AND SLOPPINESS EVERYWHERE.
A while? They played fine against Toronto. They produced decent chances and only got two goals. Tonight they are playing terribly, but that usually means a plateau of some sort has been reached and a breakthrough is coming. When I used to compete in sports, having a really terrible day or week generally led to a breakout.Yeah they haven't been playing great for a while now, not just tonight. Well this is how we’ve drafted and assessed our young players.I agree.
But they are botching every single pass. Every pass. This is nothing new.
Watch, after the tournament and the 4 nations break we will see the same thing.
I don’t blame Green. They spent a long time trying to win with offense and they couldn’t do it. He’s working with what he has, it’s just painful. This is the the exact type of offensive neutering that Travis Green did to Vancouver though.
He started regressing mid way last yearNot an issue suffering through a few games of down cycle, but half a year? The odd good play does not make up for that.
History says the latter. What team is this?
The one that's hungry to get into the playoffs?
Or the one that folds like a cheap suit as soon as they face some pressure in the standings?
