Was laughing that offseason with my buddy who’s a Leaf’s fan when he said “watch Holl sign with the Leafs”…. I didn’t think there was a chance in hell Yzerman would make such a mistake… total brutal signing. I understand it was to add a blanket for the young D prospects to not be rushed into the NHL, but Jesus is he bad.

I really loved that goal from Raymond Kapser and Larkin. The team looked pretty dejected after that own goal. I can tell those three said "we need to score to save this game. So we will." They had that pure "we're going to outwork you for every puck until it's in the net" energy. Gotta love it.

And I really love how that line works. All three of them are so feisty and fast that they're just all over you, all the time. And they're opportunistic enough to capitalize. Kasper fitting so well there has been huge. I was doubtful that he'd have enough offense to be a 2C. If he keeps this up... we're still going to need a 2C because I want him at 1W.

Anyone know why so many games are played on NHL Network this year? I have ESPN+ and use to be able to watch most DRWs games. Now so many are taken off and aired on NHLN now.

Is there a broadcast schedule?

I hope Bettman gets a painful oozing hemorrhoid for every Wings game that's on the NHL Network.
